Dance School in Joinville-le-Pont

Located in a residential area, this new equipment will provide facilities for all different kind of dance activities.

With a metal facade, the project contains a large lobby with monumental stairs providing access to the different rooms.
The aim was to keep raw and pure finishes and reach the optimum reverberation time. With a constant dialogue with the Architect, an optimum reverberation time was obtained (one second for this kind of space and activity) using smooth concrete structures helping the spread and elimination of unwanted waves as well as metal false ceiling arrays concealing a controlled amount of sound absorptive materials.
